Account & Data Deletion
Last updated: 11 October 2026
1. Delete from inside the app (fastest)
Open Zippl → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account, type DELETE to confirm, and submit. Your account is deleted immediately, no waiting period.
2. Or request deletion by email
Don't have the app installed anymore? Email support@zipplapp.com from the address on your account (or with your registered mobile number) with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request and process it within 30 days.
You can also reach us on WhatsApp, which is usually the fastest reply. If you are unhappy with how a request is handled, our Grievance Officer is contactable at the address in our Privacy Policy.
3. What gets deleted
- Your account: login credentials, profile (name, email, phone), and session data, always deleted.
- Your shop's business data (items, invoices, parties, payments, GST reports): deleted along with your account if you are the only user of that shop.
- Shared shops: if you work in a shop with teammates, only your own access is removed. The shop and its shared records stay intact for the remaining team, and another member is automatically made the owner so the business isn't disrupted.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Indian GST rules require businesses to retain their own invoice records for several years. If you rely on Zippl for that, export your invoices and GST reports (Settings → Export Data) before requesting deletion.
