App Development

One Codebase.
Every Screen You Need.

Android, iOS, Windows and the browser, built once in Flutter, shipped everywhere. We have done it for our own product, so the promise is not theoretical: Zippl runs in shops across all three platforms from one shared codebase.

Two Stores, One Team, One Codebase

Building a separate native app for Android and iOS means two codebases, two sets of bugs, and every feature paid for twice. Flutter compiles a single codebase to genuinely native builds for both, which is why we use it for everything.

  • Native performance: compiled to machine code, 60+ fps animations, and platform-correct behaviour on each OS.
  • Device capabilities: camera, GPS and maps, biometrics, push notifications, file storage, background tasks and deep links.
  • Store submission handled: signing keys, Play Console and App Store Connect listings, screenshots, privacy declarations and review responses.
  • Built to be maintained: layered architecture and tests, so the next feature does not require rewriting the last one.

Offline-First & Desktop

Apps That Do Not Stop When The Internet Does

A shop counter, a delivery van, a warehouse basement, a field survey. The connection drops and a normal cloud app becomes a spinner. Offline-first inverts that: the device is the source of truth and the cloud catches up afterwards.

  • Local database first: every read and write hits an on-device SQLite database, so screens never wait on a network round trip.
  • Safe background sync: queued changes replicate when connectivity returns, with conflict handling and server-assigned identifiers so two devices cannot collide.
  • Windows desktop builds: the same app as a real installable desktop program for counter PCs and back-office machines.
  • Hardware integration: Bluetooth and USB thermal printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, weighing scales and UPI QR generation.

Backend, Cloud & Integrations

The Half Of The App You Never See

An app is only as good as the system behind it. We design the database, the authentication, the permissions and the deployment, and we design them so your data stays yours and stays isolated.

  • Postgres, not a proprietary store: a real relational schema you can query, back up, and export at any time.
  • Row-level security & roles: multi-tenant isolation enforced by the database itself, so a bug in the app cannot leak another customer’s data.
  • Authentication that fits: email, one-time codes, Google Sign-In, phone OTP, plus invitations and team member roles.
  • Third-party integrations: payment gateways, WhatsApp Business API, SMS, e-invoice and GST portals, shipping partners, accounting exports.

Where We Fit Best

Apps We Are Set Up To Build

We are strongest on business software: apps where data, roles and reliability matter more than viral features.

Billing & POS Apps

Counter billing, GST invoicing, thermal receipts and daily cash reconciliation. Exactly what Zippl does.

Inventory & Field Apps

Stock counts, barcode scanning, warehouse movement and delivery runs, usually where signal is worst.

Internal Business Tools

Attendance, job cards, approvals, service tickets and anything currently held together by WhatsApp groups.

Customer-Facing Apps

Booking, ordering, loyalty and account self-service, tied back into the system your staff already use.

Multi-Tenant SaaS

One app serving many businesses, each isolated, with plans, seats and subscription entitlements.

Rescue & Takeover

An existing app that stalled. We assess it in writing, then finish, stabilise, or rebuild it.

Proof, Not Promises

Everything Above Ships In Zippl Today

Rather than a slide deck of capabilities, look at our own product. It uses every technique on this page, in production.

Three Platforms, One Codebase

Zippl ships as an Android app, a Windows desktop application, and a browser app from the same Flutter source.

Real Offline Operation

Bills are created, printed and stored with no connection at all, then synced when the shop comes back online.

Isolated Multi-Tenant Data

Every shop is separated by Postgres row-level security, with owner, manager and staff roles enforced server-side.
